Images have been reduced for faster loading pages.
1. New Image, white, set up like below.
2. Path tool, circle, 2D Object, any color.
Draw one 125x125 px. If you needed to resize it to get these dimensions then Rclick, Convert, Reset text/path object.
Rclick, Align, Center Both. Duplicate.
3. In your Easy Palette (hereby known as EP) go to Text/Path Effects, Wrap Gallery, Path Wrap and find #27. Double click to apply. You should now have this shape below.
4. Go to the EP, Fill Gallery, Gradient and choose one of the presets between these numbers G87-95. Double click to apply this to your path wrap.
5. Duplicate this object, and go to Adjust, Resize 85% set up like below
Rclick, Align, Center Both.
6. Duplicate again, Resize selected object 75%.
Rclick, Align, Center Both.
7. Duplicate one last time. Resize 65%. Center both ways. You should now have 4 layers or objects of rose like below.
8. Click on your Transform tool. Set the degrees to 30.
Click on the second object up (third if you count the circle at the bottom) of your rose in the Layer Manager and click the left arrow to turn this piece to the Left.
On the next rose object up, turn this piece 30 degrees to the Right.
Turn your last piece at the top 10 degrees to the Left. You should now have this.
9. Now select your bottom circle, go back to the EP, and apply the same preset to this piece. Your rose head is finished. How easy is that? Shirley, you're amazing! :)
10. Now choose the Path tool, Custom Shape, some leaf you like, Color some kinda green, and draw yourself some neat little leaves to go around your 2-minute rose! We used Gradient preset G134 on our leaves.
You may also try #'s G118-127 to see how they come out. You never know. :)
I hope you have enjoyed this double tutorial!
