Let's get busy!
Don't forget to save your work often!
1. New image: 400x400px, white.
2. Path tool: Shape square, 2D, any color other than white.
Draw a large size square to almost fill the image background.
Rclick, Align, Center, Both.
3. Selection tool: Lasso tool, Soft edge 1.
Start at the top of one corner just outside the square and draw a diagonal line to the bottom opposite corner. Make the line as straight as you can like the pic below. When you have it click on the 'Finish' button above.
4. Rclick, Convert Object Type, From Text/Path to Image.
5. Use the 'Cut' command above to remove this section. Rclick over the selection and Rclick, None.
6. File, Preferences, General, Guidelines & Grid:
Change the Horizontal/Vertical spacing to half the height and width of your 'new image'. If you used 400x400 then set it as below. This gives you the center of your new image. This will take effect immediately. No need to close and reopen PI.
7. Now click on the Grid on the lower Right side of PI and click on the Grid setting to activate it.
8. Click on the Standard Selection tool:
Shape 'square' set up like the pic below. Make your little square selection, and use your keyboard arrow keys to move it to the
center by eye.
9. Use the Cut command or hit your Delete key once to remove the square notch. Rclick over the selection and choose 'None' from the menu. Uncheck the Grid the way you checked it.
10. Use the Bucket Fill tool to change the color to any you would like.
11. Click on Web, Button Designer, Any Shape. You may use the
Default settings (sample 1 below) or change the 'Bevel tab settings' if you like.
Default 2nd Bevel See capture below.
12. To make a set of 4 photo corners:
Rclick, Duplicate. Use the 'Resize' menu commands at the top to flip as necessary to duplicate your 4 corners.
13. To create a similar desplay as I have at the top of the page or to use your photo corners see this tutorial by MaryLou White of the PIRC Bulliten Board.

To add this item to your Easy Pallet click on the Pick tool and on the object. Slide it over to your EP and save to your folder.
Make sure everything is the way you want it to be, and click on the Eye at the top of the Layer Manager to hide the background, and Save it as a .psd (PhotoShop file) This is the same type of file as a .tub/psp as it keeps the transparent background. You may also save it as a png file. :)
Now that you have finished this tutorial, feel free to R-click save my award and display it on your web page. This award is offered on the honor system.
