Pumpkin Sections

You should now have this or something nearly so.

pumpkin seam line and 'eye guide'

3. Duplicate this line and flip it horizontally. Move it to the right side up against your center guide line like so.

line pair

4. Create another line on your left about half way over to the edge of your pumpkin in this same manner. Edit it to make it smooth and curved nicely.
Duplicate, and move to the right side up against the center line.
Turn your pumpkin objects off if you need to for good placement.

second set of lines for seams

5. Repeat this process one last time. You should now have something similar to this below.
Turn off the orange object to check out your lines. Make sure they come together smoothly inside the pumpkin area. Turn your pumpkin object view back on to be sure.

Select all your pumpkin seam lines and R-click group. Make sure you don't group the center guide line.

6. Select the top pumpkin object and convert from path to image.

With the orange object selected run your Burn brush down one line at a time. Keep the line in the center of the brush as much as possible. If you mess up and go crooked hit the Undo button and try again. It may take a bit of practice to burn them fairly centered all the way down the line.
Burn each line twice!
Now you will have something like this below.
