IMPORTANT

Decide now if you want a swirly-haired silly bird like the blue one above or a furry one like the red! Use the directions below for your fur or swirled hair. The directions are identical for both except for using the Eye Candy settings.

FURRY SETTINGS

3. Effects, EyeCandy 3, Fur or Swirl (furthermore noted as EC3) and apply these settings above or below. This will be your setting for the rest of his parts. Don't forget to save your work!

4. Merge, Zoom to 300, Smudge Tool set up like below, smudge all around the heart like little hairs are coming out of his head. Try to make them go in the direction of the lighter strokes of the fur, if you can, so the hairs look continued on to the outside of his head. Go back to normal view.

5. Selection Tool, Magic Wand set up like below (v.10) - get as close as you can to eliminate all the white of the background around the selection.

6. Rclick, Expand by 1 and check to see if it has eliminated all the white like below. Now use your + sign on the Magic Wand to remove any stray white pixels.
Rclick, INVERT, Rclick, Convert to Object. Save that baby!!! Don't want to loose it now! :)
