Description: Create an animated flaming name tag.

We will be working with the name "Dragon" for this tutorial.

Unzip and Import my gold preset to your Easy Pallet.
Open the font and minimize to your Desktop Tray.

Background

Now is the time to decide on what color background you want. Open a New Image 150x100px or whatever size will hold the name you want to make. You will need a little extra room at the top for the flames. Mine will be set up like this:

Font

With your Font Tool, choose the font you want. I am using Fontdinerdotcom Sparkly, Size 65. Create your text, Rclick, Align, Center Horizontal, and move toward the bottom of your image. Apply the Preset of your choice.

Open your Eye Candy3 (further referred to as EC3) and apply these settings. Click in the first box, type the numbers in and 'tab' key your way down entering the numbers as you hit the tab key. Apply and Deselect your name. Save as a gif or jpg with a name1 or frame1!

Click Undo till the flames are gone and leave it selected.

Open EC3 and apply these settings.

Deselect your name and Save it as name2 or frame 2!

Click Undo till the flames are gone and leave selected.

Open EC3 one last time, and apply these settings.

Deselect your name and Save it as name3 or frame 3!

Animating Your Name

Open your Gif Animator.

When it opens click on Animation Wizard, then Add Image...
Navigate to your way to your files and click on the last name file created (3), hold down the shift key and select the first file (1). That way they will come in in the order they were created.
Click Next

Select Source Type: Do not Dither.

Animation Speed:

Click on Next, and then Finish.

Now that they are in your Animator, Click on the Optimize Tab.

Click on Wizard at the bottom of the panel above and follow these previews.

Click on the Advanced Tab.

Click on Next and then Finish.

Click on the Preview Tab to check out your flames.

Click on the first Arrow to view, second arrow to stop, and third arrow to close the preview window.

If you like what you see, X out the preview window, and Click on the Save As button, give it it's final name! You are finished!
